Sergio came recommended to us by a mutual friend. His company has done three projects for us. They put up a redwood fence in our front yard with an automatic gate, they closed a giant hole in the side of our house that was letting rain into our basement, and they built a deck and did landscaping in our backyard. We really trust and appreciate them.
The quality of their work is excellent. They are very thorough, and they know what they’re doing. They always give us lots of options with regard to material, style and budget.
We've always finished within the timeline, unless we've asked them to do extra work for us. They are very popular, but once we established the start and end dates, they always finished on time. And we’ve never paid a dollar over what they quoted us. Sometimes they have reduced the budget if the materials didn’t cost as much as they thought.
They are very responsive. Sometimes they communicate faster than us! I could text Sergio from the store to make sure whatever we were buying went with what he was building, and he always got back to me right away. His whole crew is very kind and professional. They are all great communicators. We appreciated that they are a small team so we always had the same people on each project.
We’ve referred them to other friends and their pricing is better than what our friends had been quoted by other contractors. We feel really lucky to have found them. We definitely plan to work with them again.

We hired Coronado Construction Company for a bathroom remodel. My favorite part about them was how transparent, responsive and empathetic they were. They clearly cared about the quality of work and how we were experiencing our lives throughout the construction. Our home is older and we’ve been working on it nonstop. Price-wise, they came in at about the middle of the other bids we got. The price was worth the peace of mind and the quality of their work. We've hired many contractors, but this was the first time we felt it was worth what we paid.
They are quick to communicate and very responsive. Often times I would send a text and I would get a call back a second later.
There was an initial budget and some issues came about—we decided to repaint our bedrooms, and extended the bathroom remodel, so we did inflate some of the budget. Before they proceeded with the rest of the work, they always made sure that we were aware of any extra costs. One thing I will note: I made the last payment about a month ago and since then it’s taken them a little extra time to finish the final details. I’m sure they have other projects going on, but I’m waiting on them to come back to finish some small things.
Sergio would call me pretty much every day he had workers here. Even though there were a few issues along the way we always felt like we were being taken care of. We would work with Coronado Construction again for that reason.

Coronado Construction Company remodeled our bathroom and converted some built-in drawers into shelving for me. They also installed a pocket door and molding. I was very happy with their work. They did a great job. It was a very positive communication experience—and overall experience. They gave me a reasonable quote, and any additional costs were due to changes I made. They are an ethical, honest family business and they do a good job.

Coronado Construction Company did both landscaping and construction work for us. They worked on all sorts of projects beyond what we had originally imagined. The outcome is is beautiful. They built us a fence, a deck and a surrounding area for our jacuzzi. They also built a "catio"—a small patio to protect our cats from coyotes. You name it, they did it. Their work is just gorgeous!
There were no major delays on anything. They were always upfront about any additional costs when we decided to expand a project. They were always on time. I was able to text them anytime and they would get right back to me.
Their pricing is very reasonable. We got other bids the first time hired them, and they were more affordable than the others.
I can’t think of anything they could do better—besides clone themselves!
