I have written reviews about Lerman Appliance Repair before--singling out Ilya Lerman as a terrific repair person. So when my HVAC was in need of repair, I was delighted to hear that Ilya has now started his OWN HVAC repair business! Ilya came over and we had several consultations. He was extremely honest and thorough.
I ended up having the whole HVAC replaced, and the whole experience was great. First of all, Ilya identified exactly which equipment he planned to choose, then texted me the details so I could look them up myself. Then he went over everything in great detail with me, even talking to me over a weekend to make sure I was comfortable with what he was choosing and what he was planning to do.
Then he and his team came and did the entire job in one day--quietly, efficiently, taking care of any "snag" with brisk competence, moving a balky appliance out of the way with no problem, leaving everything clean and pristine. Now we have a wonderful new system, the new thermostat we picked out, freezing cold air conditioning in time for the heat waves, and everything works fantastically well.
Most of all, I want to say how great Ilya himself is. He is patient, explains things thoroughly, charges a very fair price, and his work is tip-top. He is also a really nice guy with a great sense of humor, and completely honest. I recommend him completely!
