As Christian explains, "The only reason to drain a pool is when there are too many minerals in the water, which can stain the plaster and ruin the copper."
Los Feliz Pool offers a wide range of cosmetic services, including: cleaning, filter installation and replacement, pool painting, acid washing, and pump maintenance.

Christian was my pool man before he took over Los Feliz Pool Service from the previous owner ten years ago. Christian is personable and he really knows what he is talking about. If I have something going on I just text him and he will come by on his way home. I have recommended the company to neighbors and have no complaints.

I was having a problem with high acidity in my pool. I had contacted three other companies and they all recommended emptying the pool. I tried doing it myself and was very frustrated. I was going to Leslie’s and every time I went they recommended something different. I could never get it right. I decided I didn’t want to deal with it anymore.
If you are considering taking care of the pool yourself, you will pay almost the same amount in chemicals as what you would pay Christian, but with him, it will be right all the time. And you won’t have the frustration.
Christian came recommended by someone in Los Feliz. He said we didn’t have to drain the pool. He cleared it up and he has been keeping it clear for two years. Either he or one of his fellows are here once a week. When I message him he responds very quickly. It’s been a good experience.

We have had Christian as pool person for 6-7 years. He and all the guys have been great. We had a much more expensive company that didn’t do as much as he does. We met Christian through our friends. He is super communicative, and we don’t have to be on top of him. He’s great in an emergency, like a leak or any problem. I will text him and he will come right over, or walk me through it on the phone. He trains his people so they know it’s important that they do good job and are polite.
I love that he took over the business from a friend. It’s fun to watch him grow in his career. He’s always learning and finding ways to improve. He has gotten payment digitized which allows us to choose our online banking payment. We moved from New York and always lived in an apartment. We had never had anyone on our property/ We have gotten close to Christian. He’s a nice person.

I’ve been working with Los Feliz Pool for about two and a half years. Christian stands out as a small business owner. He is very passionate and committed to doing things well. He is dependable, has reasonable, transparent pricing and his service is outstanding. I have only had one problem, which wasn’t really an issue. Christian was very quick to address it. He pays great attention to his customers. I’m happy to continue working with him. He is a super nice guy and does things the right way.

I had a guy servicing my pool, but I wasn’t happy with him. Los Feliz Pool is affordable, reliable and the guys are great. I have had emergencies, like when the neighbor’s water main broke, and Christian came right over to help. Christian is honest, knowledgeable and just a super nice guy.

We moved into our house in Arcadia in 2021. The water in the pool was so green and gross. It looked like a swamp. We had never had a pool before. The property manager told us to clean it, but nothing was working. We tried another pool guy who tried to fix the problem for a couple of months, but couldn’t, so he suggested draining the whole pool. Then we got Christian’s name from a friend who loves working with him. Christian told us there was no need to drain the pool, that we needed a new filter and that the rest is just chemistry. A month later the pool was crystal clear! I was impressed! We have been using him ever since. He has never missed an appointment and the water has been impeccable the whole time. Christian is also just a super nice guy. He knows a lot about maintaining pools and he is passionate about it.
