Strengthening Bodies and Minds Through Rowing
ROWLA IS COMMITTED TO CREATING an inclusive and equitable experience for young women in the sport of rowing. As the city’s only all-girls rowing team, RowLA focuses on empowering girls from diverse communities across the city by offering need-based scholarships, uniforms, equipment, and top-notch coaching to each athlete.
In addition to athletic development, RowLA supports its participants' academic and professional aspirations through college recruitment tours, guidance, mentorship, and connections with successful women in various fields. By providing a comprehensive support system, RowLA ensures that every young woman has the resources and confidence to pursue excellence in all aspects of her life.
To further their mission, RowLA invites the community to contribute through donations to their general fund and volunteering time or expertise to help mentor and guide the program's young women. By promoting a love for rowing and providing invaluable resources for personal growth, RowLA is not only leveling the playing field for young women in sports but also cultivating a generation of future leaders in Los Angeles.
